Restoring Trust in Financial Services

In a March 30 op-ed from PRWeek magazine, Matt Wolfrom, executive vice president of Cohn & Wolfe’s U.S. corporate practice, argues that as the nation’s financial capital shifts from New York City to Washington, D.C., the financial services industry must seriously rethink its approach to customer relationships and communications. To reconnect with its customers, and help restore the confidence that is crippling the economy, it should consider adopting the same political campaign tactics that got their new bosses elected, for example: Shore up their base; Triangulate; and Build an organization among others.
